About Derika
Derika Brown — known to her community as Doula Derika Brown — is a licensed Minister of the Gospel, certified doula, childcare provider, nanny, ultrasonic cavitation technician, and hairstylist. She is a proud mother of six whose personal birth journey ignited a passion for advocating for women, especially those navigating VBAC births after C-sections.
With over 10 years of experience working with children and families, Derika built The Works Parlor LLC as an umbrella for everything she offers: holistic, faith-rooted support for women and families at every stage of life.

Join us for an uplifting and energizing experience that brings together faith, fitness, and community. Women Move Mountains is a Christian Zumba-style workout and worship movement designed to help women strengthen both their bodies and their spirits.
Hosted by The Works Parlor LLC, this event creates a welcoming space where women of all fitness levels can come together to move, worship, and connect. You’ll leave feeling refreshed, empowered, and encouraged.
